Face down
Point the speaker grille down so water and grit can leave the mesh.
Speaker ritual
Voil drives the membrane at full throw. Water, lint and dust leave the grille — not a viral tone, a real cleaning ritual.
Keep the speaker off your ear. Volume to 100%. Grille facing down.
Three steps
Point the speaker grille down so water and grit can leave the mesh.
The membrane needs full throw. A quiet phone will not move what is stuck.
Each ritual is about 30 seconds. Stubborn moisture may need two or three passes.
Frequency
Water around 165 Hz, lint near 300 Hz, dust 1–3 kHz. Voil sweeps them in order so one random pitch does not do all the work.
Voil does not open the speaker, does not disassemble your phone, and does not repair serious liquid damage. Results vary by device. If the phone was submerged or sound is badly distorted, go to authorized service.
